Unconferences in the Oddest Places

We are in Philadelphia this week running a mini unconference about the future of Public Radio here in the US. Johnnie has been good enough to come in this week and observe. He will be leading a big unconference with us in a few weeks. 400+ people.

We have been doing these all over the states for our client as we tap the Wisdom of Crowds to help a big organization make smart, nimble, decisions. It’s our hope that the Public Radio system as a whole can be part of those decisions and changes.

There. Have you been wondering what blogging, unconferences, social networks, RSS, Open Source and all that actually mean to these well-established organizations?

We’ve been doing it for 4 years and hope to be doing it for at least 4 more. I think it’s time for us to share what we’ve learned.
